365: Day 55

Day 55: 10.16.2020

Today I am thankful we could bring a smile to this girl's face and let her have a Daddy / Daughter date. She wanted to wear her favorite dress, to have Mommy curl her hair, and to be able to wear a little bit of makeup. Daddy took her to Perkins for breakfast, she got to walk around the target, and she got to go to the book store to get the next two books in her series. I was told they were stopped many times by people telling Tierney how Gorgeous she is and how cute it was they were on a date. I am very happy for them and that we can make these memories for the kids, at the same point though, things like this make me sad, the children have had more dates with their father than I have ever had with him. The last time we went on a date was our 7th wedding anniversary and we will be celebrating 12 years this January. Oh well, memories for the children are more important.

Also, I love that people tell Tierney how pretty she is but it worries me too... I don't want her to get a big head about it, you know what I mean? On top of that, people when we are out and about, will say it to her in front of her sisters, completely ignoring them. How do you think that makes the other girls feel, all my children are beautiful, I don't want the others to feel less about themselves because their sister gets more admiration. Am I being silly here?

Like most photographers and moms, we like to share our images with the world. I began to worry that I may be clogging my family and friend's news feed with countless images of my children, so I created this blog...
